Running in Demo Mode
Running Pocket DOS in Demo Mode
When Pocket DOS starts up it checks to see if the version that is running has been registered. If the Registration Code and the Initialization Code and the User Name don't go together the system starts up in Demo Mode. Most likely this is caused by the user changing the Owner Name (User Name). The User Name must be TTS for all TTS sold handheld units. If you change it the next time that you start up Pocket DOS it will start in Demo Mode.
Note: The system will run in Demo Mode but every 5 minutes or so you will get an iritating 15 second message stating that the system is running in Demo Mode. This is the only way that the software developer can ensure that someone hasn't stolen their software.
If you changed the User Name to something other TTS you can't register it. You must exit Pocket DOS and change the User Name and then come back and restart Pocket DOS and register it.
