Pocket DOS - Exiting Pocket DOS

Exiting Pocket DOS

If you want to exit Pocket DOS, you should be back on your Application Menu.  At the least, you should be on some program menu and not in the middle of scaling a load of logs, grading lumber, end tallying lumber or any in progress function.  Exiting Pocket DOS without first closing your application you are running may result in data loss.

To Exit Pocket DOS do one of the following two things:

1)  If there is an 'x' in the bottom right corner of the screen, click it.  You will be asked if you want to confirm exiting Pocket DOS.  Click Yes if you meant to exit Pocket DOS.

2)  If there is no 'x' in the bottom right corner of the screen and there is a menu bar displayed, then click the reddish circular button towards the center of the screen.  If you have a monochrome display, click the last round button at the center bottom of the screen.

3)  If you don't have a menu bar displayed (Allegro CX only), turn the menu back on, and then follow the procedure outlined in step # 1 above.

When you exit Pocket DOS, you are returned to the Windows CE.Net menu (Allegro CX) or the Windows Mobile menu (all other handheld units that still run Pocket DOS).
