Handheld Unit PC Communication Issues

All of the handheld units that we carry now communicate with the PC/laptop in one of 3 ways:

• Allegro CE/DOS, Allegro DOS, Allegro CX   -  Uses Lynx and a null modem cable or a cable and serial to USB converter.  Some of our later users also make use of a removable CF card and a card reader.
• Allegro CX - Active Sync or Windows Mobile Device Center using a cradle.  Some of our later users are also making use of a removable CF card and a card reader.
• Allegro MX, Trimble Ranger 300X, Trimble Nomad 800/900 - Uses a flash memory stick or a USB cable.
