Importance of Logging In

This blog entry highlights the benefits of logging in when you visit our site.

After you have registered on our site, whether you are a customer, ex-customer, prospect, or just want to be a member of our forum you can't see some sections or participate unless you log in first.  Our system will not remember you from session to session.  You must always log in using our Login tab first.

When you log in, you can participate  in our Forum group, you can request an on-site visit with our Calendar section, and you can download information from our Support section.  In the future, we are going  to implement a Specials Section under our Purchase tab at the top of the page.  It will detail specials available only to current users.  Typically what we will have here are backup units that you can buy fully loaded with your software.

This might not seem like much right now but it also helps us determine what our customers and users are looking at so that we can improve its content.  Without registration we don't know who is looking at what and whether or not we should find out who is looking at our site and if we need to contact them.

The IP address of everyone who accesses our system is shown, but that only tells us the area of a user, not who the actual user is.  This is to protect the identity of those who use the internet and this ensures your privacy.  Even if the IP address designates an area, there are often dozens of companies that would show up in the 50 or so mile range around that area.  Help us from wasting prescious time and resources on narrowing down the user by logging in after first coming to our site.
